CTIF 2025/2026 IS NOW OPEN

Are you passionate about transforming your classroom and enhancing student learning? SGU’s Academic Development Center is thrilled to announce that the Central Teaching Innovation Fund (CTIF) is officially open for proposals!

What is CTIF?

CTIF is a supportive platform created specifically for SGU lecturers. It’s designed to help you contribute to SGU’s strategic vision by promoting creative and impactful teaching innovations that provide high-quality education.

This is your chance to bring your best ideas to life! We are seeking proposals that align with our key objectives:

  • Education Quality Improvement
  • Academic Digitalization Advancement
  • Revenue-Generating Modules/Content

What Makes a Strong Proposal?

We are looking for projects that will make a measurable difference. All proposals must focus on two mandatory outcomes:

  1. Enhance Student Learning: This can be through new teaching methodologies, assessment tools, or other innovative approaches.
  2. Integrate Academic Digitalization: We encourage the use of digital tools, e-modules, virtual labs, or online content to support blended or fully online learning.

We are also excited to see proposals that develop innovative lecture plans , align curriculum with industry needs , or create new revenue-generating opportunities like workshops and certifications.

  • Proposal Submission: November 12 โ€“ December 12, 2025
  • Review & Announcement: January 12 โ€“ 19, 2026
  • Project Implementation: Innovations should be achievable in 7-8 weeks.
  • Awarding Event: May 2026
