CTIF Socialization

Last week, on January 8, 2025, the Academic Development Center (ADC) at Swiss German University (SGU) successfully hosted the CTIF Socialization event and , bringing together SGU lecturers to explore opportunities for innovation in teaching and learning. The Central Teaching Innovation Fund (CTIF) aims to empower lecturers to contribute to SGU’s strategic vision by fostering creative and impactful educational methodologies that enhance students’ learning experiences.

During the event, participants gained detailed insights into the objectives of CTIF, including improving education quality, advancing academic digitalization, and creating revenue-generating educational modules. The session also covered key aspects of submitting proposals, including timelines, criteria for evaluation, and the various support mechanisms available for innovative projects.

Lecturers were encouraged to submit proposals aligned with at least one learning outcome, focusing on innovative curriculum development, integration of digital tools, or interdisciplinary approaches. Proposals selected for funding will be eligible for awards and recognition, with the best programs receiving additional accolades.

The ADC extends its gratitude to all who attended and looks forward to seeing SGU lecturers’ inspiring contributions through CTIF. For more information on proposal guidelines and submission, visit ADC’s official website or contact the ADC team directly.
